Their ballistic defence principle relies on the steel's inherent high strength, hardness, and toughness to absorb and dissipate the kinetic energy of the bullet. Upon bullet impact, the plate resists penetration while dissipating the projectile's energy through deformation and fragmentation within its structure. This prevents the bullet from penetrating the plate and causing harm to personnel or objects behind it.
 
  Bulletproof steel plates are typically employed in ballistic protection and blast-proofing applications, such as shooting range equipment, bulletproof doors, helmets, vests, and shields; bank counters and secure safes; riot control vehicles and armoured cash transporters.
